Supple Spine or Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang
Dogs with neck or shoulder pain benefit from the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula Supple Spine or Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang. This formula has been used for over 1200 years because it has so many benefits to bones and joints, brain and behavior, kidneys, skin, and muscles,

How do we use Supple Spine for dogs today?
Supple Spine is especially helpful for Great Danes with cervical neck lesions, Scottish Terriers with Scotty cramps, Dachshunds and Beagles with disc disease. It helps dogs with rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, chronic low back pain, lumbar stiffness, and sciatica.

 Supple Spine and Senior Dogs
Supple Spine is the ideal formula for a geriatric dogs, especially those that become lame after exertion or after exposure to cold. Supple Spine will also help these seniors with numbness and tingling, deafness, and dry eye. It helps with hair loss, frequent dreaming and nervousness.

 Tongue and Pulse
Usually dogs that benefit from Supple Spine have slow, weak pulses and pale or lavender tongues.

 Contraindications
Dogs that should not use Supple Spine are those with hot, inflamed joints or acute musculoskeletal pain from over use injury—so not the dogs running in the Iditarod sled races.

 Danger in Herbs from China
For over a thousand years, the Chinese have made wonderful herbal formulas, but in the last 50 years, they have succumbed to poor farming practices and I no longer trust products made in China. I prescribe Supple Spine for my clients from companies that manufacture TCM formulas in Canada or the US.
