The Sunday Post #32

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
* Phew! I think I managed to accumulate the next 3 months of review books in one week!

* This week I decided to modify my Welcome statement (right sidebar) to reflect the more pet-centric angle to my book blog. What do you think? I'll still be blogging about other books too, of course, but it seems that 75% of my blog is animal-related, so this is a micro-niche of sorts for me.

* A few things coming up this week: a wonderful blog post written from the POV of Gnarly, the canine hero in Lauren Carr's Mac Faraday Mystery series; Victoria Hamilton will be here on Tuesday to tell us what happened "When Hoppy Met Denver" (Jaymie's pets in her Vintage Kitchen Mystery series); and on Wednesday Tara will be interviewing Banshee, the Siamese star of Denise Swanson's Devereaux's Dime Store Mystery series.

* Thank you to those who participated in Bloggers Help Paws with a Cause...$769 was raised! And remember last month when I blogged about Hobbes, a local dachshund celebrity who was raising money to publish a book about his story of abuse and neglect? They ended up raising nearly $11,000!!!

* Giveaway Winners: To Trust a Thief: Sue; Trouble in the Tarot: Katreader; autographed Sparkle Abbey book: Froggy; Leap Into Books Giveaway Hop: Deerwalker
