Which pets should take supplements that support the liver?
Foods and supplements that support the liver, promote detoxification are beneficial for all pets, but especially for pets with

• known liver damage,
• exposure to anesthetics or
• taking medication affecting the liver.

Medications known to affect the liver
Pets taking any of the following medications known to affect the liver benefit from liver supplements:

Rimadyl, EtoGesic, and other NSAIDs;

cortisol, prednisone, prednisolone and other corticosteroids;

penicillin, tetracycline, sulfa, and other antibiotics;

valium and other barbiturates;

phenobarbital, primidone and other anti-seizure medications.
