On May 15, 2007 I saw Tara at my local PetsMart Adoption Center. (Her name was Kelly at the time.) It was love at first sight. I came home, read her Petfinder profile, and the next day filled out an adoption application and was approved the same day. I was recently browsing through photos on my computer and came across the pictures of her at the shelter that were posted on Petfinder. I remember emailing them to my friends and family to introduce them to my new family member even before I'd brought her home. I'm so happy that I saved them!
